Calling all young creatives, bakers and kid-preneurs: Statesville’s 4th Annual Kids Biz Expo is back this June! So, break out those tasty recipes, crafts and sales skills—you won’t want to miss this event.
About the Kids Biz Expo
The 4th Annual Kids Biz Expo is happening on June 2nd from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Broad Street United Methodist Church. This event offers kids in grades K through 12 an opportunity to create and market their own products or services they have a passion for.
But this event is not just a showcase. Participants will also get the chance to gain real-life experience owning a business and understanding the elements that come with it. Skills these young entrepreneurs can learn include math, communication, problem solving and creative thinking.
Development and marketing of their products or services will have a direct impact on their sales at this event. They will also be able to get some insight into what it takes to own their own businesses.

The fun doesn’t stop there, though! There will also be three awards given out at this event. Awards will be given for the most original idea, the highest business potential and the best creative presentation.
