New Business Spotlight: Your Coffee Place in Troutman

Your Coffee Place in Troutman

Do you like good coffee and historic homes? Make plans to enjoy both at Your Coffee Place in Troutman, the town’s newest locally-owned coffee shop.

Your Coffee Place

Your Coffee Place in Troutman opened in mid-December and is now serving both cold and hot beverages along with a few other items.

Located in a 106-year-old house, owners and longtime friends, Susan O’Malley and Nina Priore, diligently worked at keeping as much of the original construction as possible.

Each room in the coffee shop has a slightly different feel thanks to little touches and an eclectic collection of art, décor and furniture.

One room is distinctly more feminine while another is more rustic, for instance. Yet another room is simple and artsy. In fact, it is a room often in use thanks to paint classes hosted by Priore.

Guests can register for a painting class, enjoy a warm cup of coffee and get creative with friends. The best way to find out about upcoming paint classes is to find them on Facebook.

There you will find the latest specials, current class offerings and other announcements. For example, Your Coffee Place recently partnered with joe for mobile ordering.

Coffee lovers just need to download the app. Then find Your Coffee Place and place your order. You can let them know if you prefer curbside or counter pick-up too.

Don’t forget to add a bag of Sky Mountain Coffee, a thing of Big Paul’s Honey and a few baked goods to your order while you are at it!

Did we mention part of Your Coffee Place’s appeal is the local focus?

The coffee used, brewed and sold comes from nearby Sky Mountain Coffee, based in Davidson. Big Paul’s Honey is locally sourced from a Statesville beekeeper. The baked goods offered at the coffee shop are from local bakeries as well.
